Nik Halik's Financial Freedom Institute (FFI)
In June 2006 Rick and I purchased and watched (twice, back to back) the Nik Halik Financial Freedom Institute "Mastery in Stock Market Intelligence" home study pack. This pack consists of 2 volumes, equalling 12 DVD's in total. Nik has a unique style of information delivery that makes the stock market and all its jargon, very very understandable. I (Alison) expected that a lot of the info would go over my head, and that I would have to work hard to get it, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to grasp a lot of this technical analysis on the first sitting. Of course some of the more complex details take a bit more effort, and repetition is definitely the key. But Nik's style and the way in which he builds on the information, from the simple to the more complex, makes this DVD series a very valuable tool.
We refer to the DVD's regularly, and are pleased to have them as part of our educational library. I can now look at charts and interpret the information before me, and I can apply the charting software to help me make sound investing decisions.
In September 2006 Rick and I attended a one day Share Trading seminar in Melbourne, hosted by Nik Halik's Financial Freedom Institute. It took a bit of effort to get there from the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, but was well worth it.
Wolfgang Hofbauer is the man that presents the days education, and like Nik Halik he has an easy to understand style of delivery. This education helped to consolidate the information that we have learnt from the home study pack.
We both found it really valuable, and enjoy learning this stuff together, as we can share the information and the responsibility. This helps to concrete these new concepts.
Now, in July 2008, Rick and I are still using the skills we have learnt and built on through Nik's homestudy package, to manage our share portfolio and our self managed superfund.
